Finally

July 15, 2007

This is the Barack Obama I remember from 2002. I hope that he keeps class and race on the agenda. I’d like to send him a card–”Welcome Back, Barack”–but it’s still too early. This bodes well, though. True, my continual posting on Obama belies the claim in a prior post that I don’t have a crush. I guess I’m out–so long as he keeps well left of the median.

What a beautiful clip for a Sunday afternoon. Finally, indeed, some hope. Hope. It’s an oddly unsettling sensation these days. Keep fighting the good PR fight!

Thanks, I’m still surprised at his frank inclusion of class with race as an American problem. I guess that ticklish sensation might just be hope, after all.
